June 4, 1896 – June 4, 2021
Immediately after morning worship on July 17, 2022, the congregation and guests are invited to remain in the sanctuary for a special program to commemorate our 125th anniversary! We will then move to the Fellowship Room for a luncheon. (Reservations are required for the luncheon portion of the festivities.)
We are partnering with the school nurses again this year to supply our youth in need with personal care products, energy bars, &/or emergency clothing. There is a bucket in the Narthex to place your donations.
We will be making Personal Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief to give to families who had to leave their homes due to natural disasters, famine, conflict, etc. To sponsor a kit, please contact the church office for a list of items needed, or simply donate money toward items or shipping costs.
Please remember those who are hungry and keep your fresh, non-perishable food items coming--this month we are asking for one pound boxes of spaghetti. The NE Food Pantry is always in need; please bring to St. Peter's & we will transport it to the Food Pantry for you! St. Peter's serves weekends in July.
We are saved by the grace of God alone, not by anything we do. Our salvation is through faith alone, a confident
trust in God, who in Christ promises us forgiveness, life and salvation. The Bible is the norm for faith and life,
the true standard by which teachings and doctrines are to be judged.
We are the church that shares a living, daring confidence in God's grace. Liberated by our faith, we embrace you as a whole person--questions, complexities and all. Join us as we do God's work in Christ's name for the life of the world.
